Summer Camps 2024 Summer Camp Week 2 (6/9-6/11) - Painter's Paradise

This week in the Kindness and Joy Toys Play Lab, we will use watercolors, acrylics, and printing ink to create SIX frame-worthy pieces to add to your home gallery!  We'll start off our week pour painting to create unique fluid art on canvas, then we will explore printmaking using printing ink and professional printmaking materials to make one-of-a-kind hand made prints!  On Tuesday, we'll spend our day exploring various methods of water color painting including salt painting, wet on wet painting, and splatter painting!  We will also begin our acrylic still life pieces which we will finish on Wednesday! Our final day of art camp we will complete our acrylic still life pieces and experiment with texture using acrylic on canvas and various art tools.  The week will conclude with an art show the final 15 minutes of camp. 

Age:  Rising 1st graders to rising 6th graders

Time/Day:  Monday thru Wednesday 10:00-2:00

Note, please bring your child a sack lunch (no nuts please).
